Octavia tilted her head to one side, narrowing her eyes suspiciously at Gemini, "Raelynn. The blonde girl." It came out more a statement than a question, "She was so jealous." Octavia laughed, shaking her head and leaning into the couch as her power, which she tried to keep reeled in unsuccessfully, started to flood over the room again, "I'd bet my last single that she is in love with you." Tavie's voice was sing song and kind of taunting.

The good feelings returned for which he was grateful, though a little annoyed. Though he was usually very true to his sign and Geminis were notorious for mood swings this was getting a little ridiculous. He slid off the arm of the couch so that he was fully sitting on the couch. He cocked an eyebrow at her, he didn't remember Raelynn being jealous but at the same time he didn't remember much of anything after He and Scooby had put on their own show and the who knows how many shots of fireball. He pulled off his hat and ran his fingers through his hair before replacing it. Well You'd be half right. She came to "Rescue" me from this chicks house in LA and confessed she was in love with me but, She isn't. She's seeing my childhood best friend and infatuation will do that to you. He had to admit there was a weirdness about talking about these things to his technically ex fiancee.

Octavia raised her eye brows, surprised. She sat silent for a moment, considering the situation, "I swear that is not at all the vibe I got." She said thoughtfully, chewing on the inside of her cheek as she tried to formulate her next words, "I mean, did you tell her you loved her back?" Octavia asked, not bothered at all by the fact that this guy was her ex-fiance.

Well maybe you're just not a good at reading vibes. Gemini's head snapped around and he scrunched up his face looking at Octavia like She had just said something ridiculous like that Star Lord was the worst or something. Do you hear yourself when you talk? Why would I tell her I loved her back? I don't do the whole love thing Despite the pleasant mood in the room he was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. If there was one thing Gemini didn't like dwell on, talk about, or deal with it was emotions.

Scoffing, Octavia rolled her eyes and slouched into the couch dramatically, "I assume you told her as much?" With a heavy sigh, Octavia continued, "And you expected a girl who confessed her feelings for you, at great duress I assume, given her obvious aversion to telling you in Vegas, to NOT try and move on when you tell her to go to hell?" Laughing to herself at the absurdity of the situation, she bobbed her head to the tune of Danger Zone, which was now stuck in her head, "And then you decide for her that it was just infatuation?" Shaking her head, Octavia looked at the ceiling, "What could Dani possibly see in you?"

Gemini rolled his eyes as he slid deep down into the couch lacing his fingers together and laying his hands against his stomach. First of all, I never told her to go to hell. Second of all, I'd say at any point that someone drops their feelings for you in a matter of weeks if that it'd infatuation, Which whatever. I don't care, It wouldn't be the first time some girl has been infatuated with me. I just don't want some silly emotionally fickled girl rebounding on my best friend. He said with a shrug, He wasn't sure that was the true reason Ryan and Raelynn's relationship annoyed him but it's the reason he had convinced himself of. The irony wasn't at all lost on him that he judged Raelynn for what he considered as fickled behavior though he himself was extremely fickled. It really doesn't matter. I'm over it. He cut his eyes at her when she brought up Dani Oh I don't know, someone whose been there for her for the past three years... Oh and nice abs. The look on his face turning playful as he poked his abdomen with thumb.

Giving him a sideways glance, Octavia chewed on the inside of her cheek again. Suddenly, she pushed off the couch and toward him, landing on top of his so her face was only a few inches from him and her legs straddled his waist, "Nice abs, huh?" She said in the slow seductive voice she always used when she had been working in Vegas. She knew that the spots were her hands touched Gemini's bare skin would be receiving a super dose of her drugging powers.

Gemini was surprised by her movements, with his eyebrows raised and eyes wide he stared at her for a moment before his surprise turned to one of question. He wasn't sure he trusted Tavie and he felt a bit vulnerable in this position which made him uncomfortable and he shifted ever so slightly. In any other situation his hands would have her waist but instead he laced his fingers together and tucked his hands behind his head Yeah, Nice Abs.... The euphoric feeling sinking in starting to make his head buzz again, his skin tingled like never before where her hands touched him, and he blinked at her a few times distracted by it.He gave her a lopsided goofy grin This all seems very familiar. he said motioning toward Octavia in his lap.

Octavia leaned forward, just barely a centimeter from Gemini's face, "Oh?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly like she might kiss him. But as quickly as she was on top of him, she was gone, standing between him and the TV and shaking her head, "I don't trust you." She said in a flat voice, her eyes narrowed as she considered ways to make Dani dislike him.

Gemini had been conflicted when Tavie had leaned in like she was going to kiss him, his instinct would have been to give in and close the gap between them, the dreamy feeling making that urge stronger but in some sick turn of events she was Dani's friend and they were just starting to get back to normal. There had to be some kind of bro code that applied between men and women that stated that he didn't sleep with her friends either. Luckily he didn't have to dwell on it too long. At first confused he stared at her trying to process what was happening, once it clicked he gave a lazy shrug, while he moved to sit up straight. Well I guess it's a good thing I don't really give a shit if you do, now isn't it?

Smirking, Octavia couldn't help but shake her head and laugh a little. Raising her eye brows as if challenging him, she leaned forward one last time and looking in his eyes, "You will." With a wink and a wave she darted from the room, leaving him with that thought and taking the last dose of feel good magic with her.
