POWER NEGATION |
His ability works best through contact. He can negate others abilities if they are within three yards of him but it doesn't last very long and it takes more energy to do that. It is almost like a negating field. However if he is in contact with that person their powers are useless if he chooses. He can turn the power on and off at will. He can keep this up for a few hours. Granted he has to be touching the person. It does take energy to use the ability so if he is tiered or run down it doesn't work as well and sometimes not at all. If he uses it too long it can cause severe headaches and make him sick.

I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | The six hour flight wasn't that bad. It was close to evening and Rich stood in the middle of time square with his best bud. He was overly grateful that Virg decided to join him on his little rescue mission. He knew his sister was using a fake id since they couldn't find any more information of where she went. Basically they would just have to look around and ask people. It was going to be a challenge but Rich knew they could do it, hopefully.
"So the plan is to split up. I'll check the hotels and can you check the clubs. Hopefully one of us will come across something" He said looking down at his phone. He had a layout plan for which hotels to check out and go from there. It could take a good portion of the night but he was sure it could be done. |

Virgil's power means he can strengthen or weaken anyone's power. He doesn't have to touch them but has to fairly close to them for it work. Also it doesn't have an off switch so if he's stood next to you, your powers might either be weaker or unbelievably strong. Unfortunately the side affects are headache's, nosebleeds, nightmares and depending on who's powers he's changing the side affects of the powers sometimes fall onto him. If he's been near a pyrokinetic he feels way to hot for the next few hours. Augmention is also helpful in training to give the trainers and students an idea of what the student is capable of with full control. He's usually wearing some sort of device created by his father though so it's not to say his power is always working.

Virgil enjoyed the flight, he loved flying and it was more fun with your best friends sat next to you. When they finally touched down in New York Virgil couldn't help the squeal of excitement that escaped his lips, he loved big cities and New York was one of his favorite. Stood in the middle of times square with his best friend made him smile, he knew he was here to find Raven but he had to admit it wasn't a bad place to get lost in.
"Got it. If either of us find her we text the other one and meet back here." Virgil added to the plan. It would definitely take them a while, New York was huge and Raven was a small person. He had a photo of Raven to show people and ask if they'd seen her. "Let's bring our birdy home." Virgil said with a smile to his friend.

I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | It this was any other occasion Rich would be enjoying the city. He loved big cities, the people the parties. It was always a blast. But this was a different trip and he needed to stay focused on the task at hand. "Sounds like a plan" He said nodding to Virg before walking off to stop by the first hotel on the list. Considering it was close to evening he didn't think he would run into his sister at wherever she was staying. But if Virg couldn't find her at the clubs at least they would eventually run into the girl. That was all that mattered.
Rich felt at home in the bustling streets. The sounds and the speed of everything. He hoped that they would have some luck. There were a lot of hotels and clubs but Rich was willing to keep at it all night if need be. |

 Virgil had complied a list of clubs to search and as Rich went one way Virgil headed the other towards the first club on his list. He never imagined Raven to be a clubber but maybe she'd changed since he last seen the girl. He entered the first club and the beat of the music made him nodded his head in time to it as he approached the bar area. "Have any of you seen this person." Virgil asked as he flashed her photo at the bartender and a very pretty waitress, neither had seen the girl and she definitely wasn't anywhere in the club. Virgil took his leave quickly, he liked clubbing but he was here for a more serious reason and for once the childish side of him was shut it a box as the responsible adult came out. He had to find Raven.
Virgil quickly found the next club repeating the same process and getting the same response. This was the same at the third, fourth and fifth club he visited. He wasn't about to give up although normally he was easily distracted by various things, his attention was focused on finding his best friends sister. Virgil wondered why Raven would've gone to New York as he stepped into the next club.

A couple of weeks didn't really seem like a long time. She finally took up the courage to see how her roommate was doing. But she still had little intentions of going back. Not at that moment at least. She was sitting in the VIP section of the club. She had already made some sort of presence since every night it was as if more people hovered around the area and she was always given a space. She really didn't know what she did, everything from first time she stepped into the club was hazy. She didn't care though, if anything it felt good. Really good to just not feel. After taking on of the pills she stood up, deciding to join the mass of bodies on the dance floor.
She wasn't paying attention to those entering the club. If she was she would have left right away. But as fate would have it she didn't notice her brother's childhood friend enter. She was too distracted by the strobe lights and the pounding of the music. Surrounded by the sea of warm bodies it was easy to loose ones self. And that was exactly what Raven planed to do. Just blend in and forget.

Virgil did as he had the other clubs and asked at the Bar if they'd seen the dark haired girl, and at last he got a result. She'd been at the club quiet a lot and ended up in the VIP area, Virgil glanced over at the designated area but didn't see the girl. Maybe she'd left already after she'd seen him walk through the door. That was his first thought until he spotted her, she was on the dance floor dancing to the beat of the really loud club music. The strobe lighting distorted many of the faces making most of them hard to make out but hers wasn't.
Virgil joined the mess of bodies dancing away and while dodging a few very drunk girls and even more drunk guys he made his way to Raven. He found his way in front of the girl and gave her a warm and friendly smile. "May I have this dance? " He asked holding a hand out to her, it wasn't a particularly slow dancing song but he didn't want to intimidate the girl and then she didn't come back, she looked to be having great fun.

If anyone else had asked her to dance she wouldn't have hesitated but when she saw who was asking she was a little taken aback. That didn't stop the other people she was dancing with to urge her on. Who wouldn't want to dance with an attractive guy. Some internal instinct told her that if Virgil was here then her brother was as well. But That wasn't always the case, he was back at the school right? She took his hand. It was easy to ignore her uneasy thoughts when her mind was already hazy. "So what brings you here Virgil Armatige" She asked, her voice coy, eyes void. The drugs helped her to not feel but she had become almost dependent on them so she wouldn't have to feel. Part of her hated how she had become but she liked not having to deal with her insane emotions.

Virgil gave Raven a gentle smile as she accepted his dance, he figured that the other people egging her on helped. When he was a little closer and could get a look at the girl he noticed she seemed a bit out of it, almost as if her brain were working very slowly. He wondered what she'd taken but wasn't going to question her. He didn't know how to answer her question, he couldn't lie to Raven, nor could he say he was here because Rich was worried. He knew all to well the relationship between the siblings was frosty, so he settled with leaving out details. "I came for you." Virgil said again he had a smile on his face as he moved to the beat of the music holding one of his hands in each of Raven's. He wanted to get he home, for both her and Rich's sakes but if he told her he was taking her back just yet she might run off and then they really wouldn't find her.

Something in the back of her mind told her to leave. Some fragments of a memory of texting Dani came up but everything was hazy. Her instinct was to leave but with everything being so hazy she just continued to dance. If she was in her right mind she would have already gone home or maybe left after texting her friend but here she was still high off of whatever drug she was taking and dancing with her brother's best friend like he was just another one of the guys at the club. She kept it up for a little while before her head started to hurt again. It was getting more frequent the more she took but she didn't care. She walked back to where she was sitting before to get a drink. She wasn't even paying attention to Virgil to see if he joined her. She sat down playing with one of the pills in her hand wondering if the alcohol would help the headache to subside before taking another one. She didn't bother to look and see if Virg was there before speaking. "He is with you right?" She asked finally able to speak what she had been thinking for a while.

Virgil followed Raven to the VIP area, he had just flown from Calloway to find her so he wasn't about to let her out of his sight. Rich wouldn't be very happy either if he found out that Virgil found her but then lost her again. He shot a quick text to his best friend;

As he approached where Raven was sat he saw the girl swallowing a pill of some kind, it wasn't good and Virgil was very worried but didn't ask or question her about it. He didn't want her vanishing on him again. "Yes Rich is here in New York. " Virgil replied. Maybe she'd run and dissapper forever but the last thing he wanted was for her to assume he was here alone and then he'd have to drag her home, no convincing her to come home willingly was what needed to happen.

"I guess that's to be expected" Raven was more focused on her drink than Virgil. Why did she even ask if her brother was there? Why did she care? She really didn't at least part of her didn't. The whole thing was just off. She couldn't figure it out the more she tried to think the more her head started to spin. This wasn't like her at all. A couple of days maybe but two weeks wasn't what she had in mind. Though every time she wanted to go back the urge to come here and just loose herself was too strong. She had a feeling it wasn't just the drugs she was taking but her mind wasn't working well enough for her to really figure it out. She didn't think of running. If anything she just wanted to sit there, staring at the drink her mind drawing a blank.

His ability works best through contact. He can negate others abilities if they are within three yards of him but it doesn't last very long and it takes more energy to do that. It is almost like a negating field. However if he is in contact with that person their powers are useless if he chooses. He can turn the power on and off at will. He can keep this up for a few hours. Granted he has to be touching the person. It does take energy to use the ability so if he is tiered or run down it doesn't work as well and sometimes not at all. If he uses it too long it can cause severe headaches and make him sick.

POWER AUGMENTATION |
Virgil's power means he can strengthen or weaken anyone's power. He doesn't have to touch them but has to fairly close to them for it work. Also it doesn't have an off switch so if he's stood next to you, your powers might either be weaker or unbelievably strong. Unfortunately the side affects are headache's, nosebleeds, nightmares and depending on who's powers he's changing the side affects of the powers sometimes fall onto him. If he's been near a pyrokinetic he feels way to hot for the next few hours. Augmention is also helpful in training to give the trainers and students an idea of what the student is capable of with full control. He's usually wearing some sort of device created by his father though so it's not to say his power is always working.

I've got to make a stand, but
I am Just a Man My voice will be heard today | Rich had walked into about twenty hotels by the time Virg texted him. He was standing at the desk of the next hotel on his list when the message came trough. He was relieved that there was some good news. He had asked the person at the desk if they had seen the girl in the picture he had. The person had gone to find their manager why Rich was looking at the phone. He was interrupted in between texting Virg. After a talk with the manager he not only had a key card but the location of the club.
Message to Virg:
On my way!
It really didn't take Rich long to make it to the club. He looked around. It was one of the clubs he would at times frequent when in the city. He flashed his VIP card to the bouncer and walked over to where Virg and Raven were. He was more concerned than angry but they needed to leave. "Sil, we need to go home" Rich stated as calmly as he could. |

HER POWER TO TALK WITH ANIMALS IS MORE OF THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND THEM. ANIMALS SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN SPEECH AND HER MIND CAN TRANSLATE ANIMAL SPEECH TO SOMETHING SHE CAN UNDERSTAND. IT JUST HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY AND SHE CAN'T EXACTLY CUT IT OFF BUT JUST LIKE TALKING WITH A PERSON SHE HAS TO BE WITHIN EARSHOT TO UNDERSTAND THE CREATURES. SHE CAN GET VERY CONFUSED ON WHO SHE IS TALKING WITH OR WHERE A CONVERSATION IS COMING FROM IF SHE HAPPENS TO BE IN EARSHOT OF SOME ANIMAL.
CONTROLLING IS A BIT DIFFERENT. IT ISN'T A SPOKEN COMMAND IT IS MORE OF A MENTAL ONE. IT TAKES TOTAL CONCENTRATION AND SHE CAN'T CONTROL AN ANIMAL FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, NOT THAT SHE WANTS TO. ANY LONGER AND IT CAUSES MASSIVE HEADACHES, NOSE BLEEDS AND IN SOME CASES SHE WILL PASS OUT BUT THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN TILL THE TWO HOUR MARK. THE SIMPLER THE COMMAND THE EASIER IT IS TO CONTROL THE ANIMALS. RAVEN PREFERS TO JUST ASK THE ANIMAL IF THEY ARE WILLING TO DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CONTROL THEM. IF HER CONCENTRATION IS BROKEN SHE LOOSES CONTROL.

She was a little upset when Virgil took her drink. She gave him a childish pout before just shrugging it off. Going home would be nice and she had tried to a couple of times but still just ended up back at the club, taken over by the numb and light headed feeling. It was overly addicting and she couldn't bring herself to leave. She wondered how her brother friend could convince her otherwise. Though part of her wanted him to. That small voice of reason in the back of her head, muffled by everything else, wanted to leave. "I don't know...." She trailed off when she noticed another familiar face walking towards them. She half expected her brother to start yelling just like everyone in the family. Bit she wasn't expecting her own mind to start screaming in a sense instead. The moment he walked over the hazy feeling was greatly dimmed. Granted it wasn't gone but instead of being all light headed she had a searing headache and felt like she was about to have a total break down. She was finally able to think and nothing made sense. She curled into a ball holding her head trying to shake the pain.
